Pesticide Applicator Study
Guides provide information to prepare pesticide applicators to meet
Colorado’s written test requirements. In addition to the guide for
the category of exam you plan to take, please obtain copies of the
Colorado Pesticide Applicators’ Act and the Rules and Regulations
pertaining to the Pesticide Applicators’ and carefully review them
prior to taking any examinations.
The general and category examinations consist of true-false and
multiple-choice questions. Questions for the category examinations
will be specific to that category and will cover subject areas such
as basic biology, pesticides and formulations, pesticide application,
applicator safety, pest identification, environmental protection,
integrated pest management, equipment knowledge, calibration, and
host/site identification.
