This database is designed to be a pesticide education resource for pesticide safety educators in Colorado.  Through this database we hope to allow educators to share information on effective speakers and to find potential speakers on a topic they might need.  You are welcome to add to our database the names and contact information of any speakers that will come to Colorado to speak on pesticide related topics.  Please email sandra.mcdonaled@colostate.edu with names and contact information.

Workshop providers may provide speakers with a specific topic or may let the speaker choose a topic under the specific subject area (Laws and Regulations, Public Safety, etc.).  For descriptions of each subject area and category, please click here or see CEPEP Factsheet #501.

The following subject areas require a 30 minute presentation to meet the requirements under the Colorado Department of Agriculture:

  • Laws and Regulations
  • Public Safety
  • Environmental Protection
  • Pesticides and their Families
  • Applicator Safety
  • Use of Pesticides

Each licensed category (Agricultural Insect Control, Public Health, etc.) requires a 60 minute pest management presentation in order to be approved for credit.

For guidelines on requesting approval for continuing education credit workshops from Colorado and surrounding states, please see the Continuing Education Credit Guidelines page.

Disclaimer: Adding names of individuals, institutions, agencies and commercial names to this database does not imply that Colorado State University endorses these individuals or groups or their products, nor does it imply that we discriminate against or exclude any other persons, groups, or commercial concerns in any way.
